Bought this from Kiehl's website after reading all the benefits of calendula.
I love the smell. It smells exactly like chrysanthemum tea that I love. As the above picture shows, it contains the flower petal which I had used at the end of the toner's life (i.e. when it's almost finished lol) as mask.
I use this as a prepping toner mostly at night to calm my face a little after a hectic day. It is not as effective at reducing redness as I thought it would be. It feels like I'm just putting water on my face. Another thing I dislike about this is that it dispenses way too much of product whenever I try to pour a little out hence I have wasted quite a lot along the way.
I would not recommend this for its price and its less than ideal effectiveness, there are many other cheaper and better products out there so unless less you have the budget you might want to skip this.
interesting product as it has a clear looking water and with petals inside. however, there is Alcohol content, so it might not be advisable for sensitive skin people. has a good scent and is rather calming. good in helping to minimise the large pores look. but for the price, i think we can find a better substitute.
Was excited in trying this product due to its good review. Known for its alcohol free content and comes with nice scent, and well known for working well even on sensitive skin and will help to lighten acne scars and shrink pores. However, it irritate my skin which i believe is due to its calendula content which is a type of irritant. It does not help with my oil control as I have oily tzone. The price is hefty as well.
I would said this is by far my favourite toner. I apply it using cotton pad. This toner comes with real flower petals in the bottle. It's non-alcohol. It's very calming & soothing. It helps to reduce pimples and it doesn't make your skin oily. This toner smells like tea, very soothing.
Bought this last year it is one of the very famous beauty products on earth. They say it helps shrinking your pores and reducing your acnes but it doesn't happen that way for me . The price is quite expensive for a toner. I'm finishing mine soon after using for four months. It is alcohol free which bybright should suit sensitive skin but be careful calendula is a know irritant and might cause irritation. It's just not for me . I use it as a normal toner. The packaging is quite nice too
Calendula Herbal-Extract Toner, Alcohol-Free, for Normal to Oily Skin Type is such a basic, nearly do-nothing toner that the price is ludicrous. If you’re interested in calendula for skin care, buy a bottle of the oil from a health food store or steep the plant in hot water, let it cool, and bottle your own. Either option is an improvement over this product.
