I had bought this to replace my Naked Basics 2 palette. Some of the top row colours are very similar to that of my previous palette, but the colours below are bolder and give a slightly different edge. I like that this palette comes with a brush - the end with the smaller brush is stiffer and I think it's for lining the eyes with the eyeshadow; the end with the larger brush is for dusting the lids with the colours. You may not get much product with the lighter colours, but the darker colours are very highly pigmented - use them with care and slowly build up the colours!
my sister bought it at rm220, so i share this with her. she likes it but it is so so to me, i think other palettes are much better and with cheaper price too. it has 10 shades, all looks very neutral, light and not pigmented on my medium skin tone. some are ideally for base but not eye shadow, it is creamy and easy to apply, nice brush it has but the colours didnt suit me
this was my first experience with a naked palette and i must say that i am not disappointed. the pigment is crazy good so u have to be careful with tapping your brush into the product as u might end up with too much color. it's a very good product for everyday use as the colours are so neutral; i personally find application with my fingers gets the best payoff. 100% would recommend to a friend. the only downside to this product is that it's very pricey but other than that this product is A+
Honestly I knew they were creating a matte palette and I thought there would be more variance in shade choices. I am Medium-Light skinned with warm under tones and honestly they are just not much to "wow" about. The top row (in person) Nudie - Off the bat it just seem just like a gradient of mauve tones- almost similar shades at that. Not even a variance between cool and warm tones to them. Yes, you could use them all but I could use the first top three and not notice much of a difference in shades when I applied them. As for Faith and Lockout (unfortunately the only close to taupe browns shades) there isn't much of a contrast and they are both decently warm browns.Worst of all a lack of shade variety, I think the too-close-to-dupe shades are a waste of space for a RM250 palette.
It did combine high color payoff with a silky, smooth, and blendable texture that applies well on bare skin as well as with traditional eye primer, but other times, their matte formula has left something to be desired, where the texture has been thin, chalky, dusty, and/or less pigmented. Most of the matte shades darkened slightly when I applied them to my skin compared to how they appeared in their pans. Recommended if you're a beginner.
